Note sure what genre this is... swampy cajun country blues? lol
Just me, a twanging Danelectro, and a bass: all recorded on the MBR. I was very influenced by the theme tune to 'True blood' when I put this together, and I've deliberately left it a bit crude and rough around it's reverbed edges.
Cheers :)
Very cool groove. A bit of the shuffle. I like the rough edges. Reminds me a bit of The Bees - a very underrated band from The Isle of Wight.
Just thinking the word cool as I was listening too. Nice playing, not at all rough, had the right attitude.
Cheers

Deadly song.
Bloody hell Tim. It's a stormer!
I don't know how you do it, take a genre, twist it, stamp Greeny all over it, wrap it up and send it on it's merry lyrical way.
Grown up music. In a disolute and wild sort of way.
You should tour the states. There's a bar I know.....
sweet Louisiana
the home of cajun Louisiana

old hijacking men aside, this is a fab tune !!!
The green chameleon has struck again !!!
Love it !
Oh yeah, this one's got the swamp in it. Twangy goodness...it's BBQ & beer time! 8)
True Blood has a kick ass theme song.
This is definitely right up there greeny.
So much going on and it's sweeeet, in a hauntingly grimmy, bluesy sort of way.
Brother you have a mean way about you.
All I can do is just sit back and shake my head.
U R so creative, on top of your playing talents.
What a winning combo.
Pretty awesome Tim.
Flows smooth no rough edges detected!
Like the little end slide too!
Almost missed this one......glad I didn't! Great job......nice bluesy feel and great vox and guitar. I am continually amazed by the talent of yours and so many others here. My Ipod is running out of space!
Different, but still Greeny!! Can green men play the blues? I reckon!! Love the vocals, it almost doesn't sound like you...
henwrench
Woof!
I didn't think you had stuff like this in you... mind you, from what I post, people probably don't realise I'm have it in me too ::)
I keep meaning to do something in this direction, but it is SO hard to do it convincingly as a "one-man-band-and-recording-thingy" set up...
You've pulled it off perfectly sir! Hats off to Greeny ;D
I like the "True Blood" theme song comparison made by Nelson. I absolutely love that theme song, and this is just as awesome. As a matter of fact, it's more awesome because somebody I know created it.
a thing beauty...a beautiful thing...beautifully Groovy
beautifully Greeny........
Very cool and great original loved the vox. ea song
i keep hearing further and further improvement on vox

You know Jace Everett?! I'm seriously getting into his music. It's country, but with a cool twist. His songs cover a lot of ground. Would be thrilled if you knew the guy!
mmm very cool Mr Green, a great swampy rocker you've got here - with a very Greeny twist
I Wish I knew Jace Everett. I was referring knowing you, not him!
If you like his work, then I'd be willing to bet that you'd like Tito and Tarantula. There's something about a driving beat and tremolo that rocks my nuts. I've been meaning to cover this song:

Don't get me started on THAT scene, lol. The best scene in any film EVER! And brilliant musically too ;D

By far the best scene in 'From Dusk Till Dawn' (and I liked the film).
Salma Hayek. :)
I really like the vox on this one, Tim! Hell, yeah! And you made the music nice and dirty the way I like it - Some really cool bass work here.
A-1 all the way - I love it!
Mark
I just love those riffing guitars Tim, and the sound of that Danelectro is just swampy sharp! I like the rawness of it, it's very immediate and hauls you right in from the off. Your guitar parts are really clever here - you are very accomplished in the way you get them to play off against each other.
A bit different and a bit wonderful. Really enjoyed this - and yes, this should've been in Dusk til Dawn!
Cheers,
Nigel
This has a real bad-ass vibe Tim !
Reminds me of the stone roses at points but I don't know why....
Suberb track mr green!
Pretty damn fine song, and the guitar work in this is stunning, I can hear so much going on here and the layering of these is fantastic.
Love your guitar sound - sounds really warm and the groove is also great - your stuff always sounds really interesting - nice vocals too.
