Quite a bit different then my usual stuff lol,.. But i've found 'inspiration' for the lyrics and song...
'Once in a Dream'
Words and Music by your friend Tommy Satchwood c2010..
Once in a Dream (1/20/11)
Ooo your blank eyes looking back at me
Ooo your silk hair, your tender lips
Is this a dream, or is it reality
Ooo your soothing touch ignites a wild fire
Oh, were you really ever mine
Is this a dream, or is it reality
Once in a dream, you were there with me
The sound of music filled the air
Once in a dream, we held each other close
Never knowing tomorrow would ever come....
Now I miss you looking back at me
And I can't feel you or touch you anymore
Is this a dream, or is it reality
Once in a dream, you were there by me
The sound of music filled the air
Once in a dream, we held each other close
Knowing tomorrow would never come,
Would never come...

Killer Tommy!
The vibe is awesome!
Sounds like it should be in a scene on a movie!
Love it!

Agreed. A very different guitar sound for you too. Normally I can tell a Satchwood song right away, but this is one is pulled from a different bag of tricks.
This could be a big hit!! The melody is so catchy and beautiful! Yes, agree with the others, a different stuff from you. Your voice works well also on this kind stuff! Production...can't find words, more!! Superb stuff, man!!!

HI Satchwood i agree withall comments. what has
been said cannot b put into finer words. great job.
loved it . best regards NEIL
A very retro 60's lov-in kinda sound...very cool!
Are you going to San Francisco?
I love it. Great vox. Love that fill in guitar. Great songwriting. its a keeper....Lectric
Satchmo...this is quite dark and mysterious indeed. I love this..very different.
You sure have your own style my friend!!
Very different, but delivered with the usual incredible skill and talent. I can feel a growing songwriting confidence to match your musical mastery coming on. This feels a bit 60's... kinda Blue Oyster Cult(ish). Fine work.
Like everyone else, I like the different approach here Tommy, lovely layers of guitars that create a great dreamy effect and feeling. Very well put together because the focus is the song and the lyrics. You are a man of many and varied talents, gtreat to hear them so well displayed here.
Cheers,
Nigel
Truly epic!! Must've took some putting together, this one. Yes, very different for Satchwood Productions, Inc. The chorus has an almost Neil Young feel to it. Great stuff, Tommy!!

Very nice, Terry. I really like the layered effects. :)

Always love hearing your vocal Tommy, and this is one of your finest.
Loving the whole feel of this song, its kind of laid back but still has that epic production sound that we come to expect from you.
The song is perfectly put together and has some great hooks, its really gets stuck inside your head after a couple of listens.
Fantastic stuff!!
i thought i already commented on this.
magic tommy.
Thank you all for the wonderful comments!! Music is such wonderful way to express ones thoughts and emotions. I'm heading to San Francisco lol
Everything is very subtle and cleverly masterered here. Good job once again.
Classic rock arrangement - my kind of music! Love it! 8)
I love the layering of guitars and vocals, and I like how the eerieness of the minor-key verses resolves into the major-key chorus. Haunting, atmospheric stuff.
Oh, this is killer! I love the high background vox - Those are tough to do. And excellent production and musicianship of course.
Glad this was bumped - Frickin' awesome, bro!

I like it Tommy, at first it reminded me a bit of "Refugee", but it takes a whole different turn.
I agree with the Neil Young reference as well.
I like the soft touch harmonic ending too, all in all a terrific listen.
Bump.
Utterly superb, Sir Tommy.
Well done. 8)
Unbelievable the good stuff I've missed. So much music, so little time.
Tom, this song belongs on radio nation-wide.
A haunting melody, fine instruments and a story well told. As good as it gets on this planet.
Well done!

Nice one Tommy, Class.....

Wow second time this morning I've noticed from these older songs just how many people have disappeared from the site.
So many comments from people that have just disapearred.
Also around this time of year people start to fade away and come back.
Cool tune.
