Hello from Sicily, Italy

Hi everybody

I've just discovered this site, thanks to a nessage from Dave Buel on BR-600 Yahoo group, so...here I am!

It's nice to meet here again the GREAT 64guitars (Ciao, sessantaquattrochitarre!  ).

I'm 54, I'm a G.P., but music is my second life since I was a boy. I play guitar (for fun, amateur) with other colleagues from allover Italy "by distance", mainly Italian songwriters' tune covers, but together with a my long-time childhood friend we have also original tunes, so if you don't mind I'll post some of this music later.

I play guitars: Les Paul, Godin ACS SA and Godin Freeway SA, Seagull Performer CW Mini-Jumbo acustic. GR-30 guitar synth, Roland VG-99 and Roland GT-Pro, Yamaha MagicStomp Acoustic for the acoustic guitar. I record all my music on my wonderful Boss Br-600, since 2007.

Hi Alfredo. Nice to see you here. You'll love this site. The members are very friendly and supportive (and a bit silly at times but that makes it fun!)

Yes, please post some songs. I remember your cover of Barney Kessel's "Happy Little Song" which was quite good. I'm sure that many members here will enjoy your music.

Godin guitars are great. I have a Godin xtSA and I love it!

GR-30 guitar synth, Roland VG-99

I envy you. I've always wanted a guitar synth and a VG-99. Unfortunately, they're just too expensive for me right now. But one day I hope to get a VG-99 and an AXON AX100 MkII.

è strano parlare in inglese tra due italiani  , but anyway, well, since you are from Genoa, I would like your opinion about that cover, since I'm sure you know the original better than me! 

And for the same reason, I'll dedicate to you another tune about Genoa - I hope to upload it soon - BUT in change you'll have to post the recipe  for that song...Guess the song's title, Silvia!

you remember my version of "A Happy Little Song", what a honor to me! Thanks a lot, and again thanks everybody for the warm welcome!

OK, I have plenty of music to upload, both covers and originals, but I see that here the level of the musicians is very high...

64G, concerning VG-99: it's WONDERFUL!, and if you have it, there's no nedd to buy the Axon too, since the VG-99 has also the Guitar-to-MIDI function. The Axon would be a "double", having the VG.
