I'm not sure how useful this would be but I find the technology very interesting. It's a digital mixer. But unlike conventional mixers, there are almost no controls on these. Instead, you control the mixer remotely from any computer, tablet, phone, etc. What's especially interesting is that there's no special software required. It's created entirely with HTML5, so it will run from any web browser. That means it will run not only on Mac and Windows, but on any device that has a web browser - Linux, iPad, iPhone, Android, etc. In fact, you can try the full mixer right now by clicking the following link:

Of course, there's no sound in this case but you can adjust all the controls to your heart's content. Pretty cool!

It's interesting that it can support up to 10 devices simultaneously. So in a band situation, for example, each band member could have his own iPad, phone, or whatever and control the mix he hears in his headphones independently of everyone else's mixes.

Another interesting feature is that they all have a USB connector into which you can plug a USB memory stick containing MP3 files, for example. And the software has a built-in player so that you can play those MP3s through the mixer. Also, all except the uMiX mini have an additional USB connector for recording. You can plug a USB memory stick into this USB connector and record the stereo mix directly.
