Well, that wasn't very hard. Pinned at the top and everything. Thanks 64Guitars

Has The Band fest been suggested? Music from the band "The Band" plus any music written, performed, covered or shared by any member of the Band. It would include the Dylan/Band basement tapes, too, I'd think.

A Greeny Thompson Twins cover has been bumped, this reminds me, are we considering an 80's Festival or can we suggest another Variety Fest tuned to the eighties.

Can I also suggest the following artists for this idea?

Howard Jones
Nik Kershaw
Depeche Mode
Icycle Works
Tears For Fears
The Human League

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I've noted all of them in a file we use to draw our festival choices from every two months.

We have "80s synth pop" in that list. But I like the idea of an 80s VarietyFest. That's definitely a possibility for a future poll choice.

The Band is a good suggestion too.

I still think current #1s would be an interesting fest!

Or #1s from the year of (insert year) might not be a bad way to go about it, either. Or even Top 10 hits from the year 1971 (as a for instance.)
