I finally finished this one. Darn drum track took me three days to finish editing and synching.

Drums done on the DR-880.
Synthesized horns.
Guitars, bass, vocals and other weird noises is all me.

Toe-tapping time!

Loving the funky bass and guitars and the horns sound fantastic. Brilliant work!

Thanks for listening, Peter.

The vocals were the toughest part for me. Until I realized that the idiot who wrote
the lyrics added words that were not in the original song. A good bit of editing fixed it.

Wow! this is so fine!. I haven't heard this one. Great horn jabs. funky guitar too. Nice work on the DR880. Did you use it for the bass too? It sounds great. Everything is so clear. Great mixing. Great vox. Well done.

Thanks, Glenn.

I did the drum track on the DR-880. I played the guitar and bass tracks and added three tracks for the vocals. Only the horns are synthesized. Took a while to get them right.

Excellent SD , I've been trying to work out just who you sound like on the last couple of songs , and at last It came to me , Steffen Grossman , that aside , i love this funky little number , those horns coming in and out , really make the song quite catchy , and the Bass and guitars are great

Thank you, Rob.

I am not familiar with Steffan Grossman. On which side of the pond does he live?
I will check out his music.

Funked to the max! The horn parts are incredible, and man... you have the funk running through your fingers on that juicy bass groove. Made me think we don't get enough funk on here. Maybe a festival for the future... ?

Great work, Gene. This is killer.

Speed Demon

Thank you, Tim. Much appreciated.

A Funkfest. Good idea. I'll bet there would be a lot of folks jumping on that one.

I'll have to try some of that James Brown stuff. None of that fancy footwork, though.
I have enough trouble chewing gum and walking without tripping on something.
Usually one of my own feet.

Hey SD you have the funk goin' on here! Love that funky bass...it's in the groove. The guitars are perfectly funky. Excellent vocal work and great cover.....I can hear why the drums were a real task to get right but you did it!
