Yes, you can load new drum sounds into the BR-600 with the Toneload feature (see pages 174 to 176 of the BR-600 manual). Check out some of the sites on the following page for free drum and cymbal samples:

You can also copy the BR-600's built-in drum sounds from one kit to another. For example, if you really like the STD1 kit except for the snare, then just copy a snare from one of the other kits into STD1. See page 140 of the BR-600 manual.
