I really like the way its turned out, it sounds great. Wonderful atmosphere and production, very Eno-esque!

A good solid rocker. Lots to like: the backing vocals, the blues harp, like the sudden spacing out of the drums about  2.5 minutes in, then back to centre. Good guitars too

Very nice. Excellent production and playing.

As mentioned by others, a hint of Dire Straits.

This is a good song and you've really captured the 60s vibe as others have said.

Its a good bass line, but if I was going to be critical, it is a bit um... thin?

Everything else sounds great, nice guitar tones and vocals.

This is up to your usual high standards. I like the vocal harmonies, they lift it in the right places.

I take it the sax is from keyboard/synth - it sounds really good.

I like the oberheim sound too, made the think of Tom Sawyer, which I guess is a long way from this!

Loved the tune, but the lyrics are especially good on this one.

Super cool post. Lovely playing. As the years have gone by, I appreciate Steve H all the more.  FYI, this YouTuber's documentaries are over the top good.  This one was posted recently...

There are certain sounds that evoke The Beatles like certain vocal harmonies, bass lines, effects, but there are also certain chord changes that conjure that same feeling. There are a couple changes in here that scream Beatles.  Great performances all around and a cracker of a tune.

It's been said on previous posts, but you really channel a lovely Knopfleresque touch in your clean playing. Gorgeous.

Cool riff. Sounds Like something Warren Haynes would write. Another killer rocker from you. Yeah, that harp is killer.
