That's cool, man.  From time to time I wonder what to do with these jobbies, but usually remain blissfully ignorant.  But I keep meaning to get around to playing with them.

This is a good reference.

Thanks henwrench, very useful info...I'm going to be using that Acoustic Shit setting for sure!  :)

I don't even know what the fuck I just read.

For guitar I use P20 Cmp Lead
or my personal favorite P48 Smooth LD

Can I get the dummy guide to this? I shit you not, I pick a patch and play, nothing more.

You never tweaked these settings before Tony?  Get in there and tweak my man.  Use this as your guide and tweek.  Pick a guitar setting, any setting and then change things, amp type and associated setings, speaker type, FX ...its all there, just  a few buttons pushes away...

All I ever do is disable the Delay and FX.
I have always wondered about all the other stuff but was too overwhelmed by the options.

I wish I had my mbr with me, I'd see if I couldn't find where to tweak. I'm a headphone musician, have been since day one. I've played through an amp maybe 2 dozen times, and I can't play for shit through one. If I don't have my ole trusty patches on the mbr, my talent goes out the window.

Basically, I have no grasp on the terminology used, I know that I've seen soft menus for AMP NS SP but I refuse to chase my own ignorance too much. I don't know what a pre-amp is, or what it does. That list of "I don't know" grows from the first setting.

It's rather refreshing admitting just how ignorant I really am about the cool stuff. If somebody wants to take the time, I'm a sponge for information.

I'm patiently waiting for 64 to hit the "post button" before I start asking some questions that the manual just led me to......
