The music is by Michel Polnareff, and the rather subtle lyrics are by Dabadie (yet another one).
Polnareff's request was to have a song with the words "falling day" but JL Dabadie suggested holidays, which is more comprehensible to the French audience.
I've always liked this song, one of the first where I heard a steel guitar (electric Hawaiian guitar)
As I have temporary custody of my son-in-law's 8strings Lap steel guitar, I wanted to try and use it in this song.
Polnareff's original key is B flat minor, so I lowered it by half a tone to A minor, which is still too high for my baritone voice, but well...

I've filled in the tracks as follows
1st track strum guitar on metronome
2nd voice track
3rd track Lap steel guitar
4th track 2nd guitar stream 12 strings
5th track Telecaster electric guitar with tremolo guitar rig

no bass line, nor drums ... maybe I'll try to add, but difficult especially the drums
and excusee me for the "pain" at last ( "pain" en argot musical maen false note Kouack
