Cover of (what I thought to be) the only Donovan song I knew*, Mellow Yellow. Seems there were Beatles around when this was made and some may have had a hand in the writing / recording. The article I read said that the verse about 'electrical bananas' is actually about what it described as 'ladies vibrators', that was the point I knew I had to do the song.

Mainly this is on the Tokai Tele, and originally it was going to be LITLR guitar and vocal. But there's some drums and even a uke track in places.

*turns out I know more than just this one, but not many. I have enjoyed finding out about his work though, all thanks to the fest.

Done "quite right-ly".  :)

Really enjoyed how you did the various melodic bits in the song (such as horn parts, etc.) using electrical guitar.

Oh so mellow.

cool vibe and a real nice cover of a song that I heard a thousand times on the radio...it is a good one though... well done and really nice arrangement

guitar work is worth a number of listens alone to catch it all

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away
