This is pretty awesome. An acoustic guitar with built-in multi-effects (reverb, echo, chorus, distortion, pitch-shifter, tremolo, looper, acoustic boost, etc). But what's amazing about it is that you don't need an amp or speakers. The effects are all created acoustically by vibrating the top of the guitar. So the body of the guitar becomes a high-quality speaker.

Prices range from €999 to €1499 (Global shipping and taxes included). According to OANDA, that's £886 to £1329, or $1213 to $1820 US. So they're not cheap, but I don't think they're outrageously expensive either. For comparison, I just looked up Gibson 6-string acoustic guitars on Sweetwater and they range from $1649 to $6499 US.

There's also an after-market installation option. You can get the parts for $390 US, but you'll also have to pay a luthier to install it.

Wow - very cool. I agree 64 that doesn't seem like too high of a price tag for a nice acoustic with those kind of features.
I'm sure this will be standard issue in a few years.
