Any thoughts on a 49-61 key midi controller?

I have found plenty of best-of lists on the web, but I quickly became frustrated. If I've overlooked a recent thread, please point me in that direction.

Looking for a keyboard controller and prefer 49-61 keys, solid build, good feeling keys (although not necessarily weighted), and pitch and mod wheels being just to the left of the keys.

Added perks (but by no means deal-breakers) would include included soft synths and integration with Studio One (w/o having to map).

Thoughts?

I just bought a M-Audio 49 USB keyboard from shopgoodwill.com for $11.51 plus change. If it works (big if) and it's wroth a damn, I'll let you know. It's simple, no mapping etc., but they keys are semi weighted. I'm hoping it will work well enough to "play" some keys on some tracks.

I can't speak from experience but, based on what I've seen online, I think Nektar keyboard controllers have the best DAW integration. They're designed with that in mind and come pre-configured for many popular DAWs, including Presonus StudioOne.

The price is great too. Only $159.99 for the 49-key version and $199.99 for the 61-key version. It even comes with a free copy of Bitwig 8-Track DAW software!

I have the Arturia Keylab 25 and I think it's great, nice feel, loads of access, programmable Midi on DIN or over USB, powered over USB or via external PSU. Comes with real wood end-caps for that authentic analog sound :)

I need to replace my aging Korg Triton and I'm thinking of getting a 61 key Arturia and using soft synths. Much cheaper than a Korg replacement or a Nord.

I  also use the Keylab 25 with Reaper. Works well
