Great review Johnny

I would consider getting one of these myself at that price. Sounds great and looks great too.

That's the same as my Les Paul style Harley Benton & it's a cracking guitar... it IS a Les Paul to all intents & purposes.

The new one is different in that it isn't really based on an "actual" model of guitar so it has more of an identity in it's own right. If I had to choose between the two of them for which to get... Hmmm... maybe the new one is a tad more versatile b ut it depends on what you're after. This new one is more Fender in character - it's got that snap and twang, but it's not quite as beefy sounding as the Les Paul copy. You COULD just get both  ;D

You cannot argue with the price of these guitars. My Vintage Lemon Drop is a really nice guitar, bang for buck is great. So many guitars, so little time ......  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Loved the review Johnny - looks and sounds great. Congrats.

Nice review, she sounds great brother. I agree about the rise in quality of the cheap guitars.

That's exciting news brother. I'm no expert and that's a very pretty Les Paul but I find them heavy, clunky and not particularly fun to play...just my opinion mind you.Teles however have so much character and that one sure has some seriously versatile tones. Good luck with whatever though.
Rock on!

I would love to buy both, but my wife would kill me. Lol. I really love the look of the LP copy tho. My guitar skills are very very limited, I am mostly a thumb strummer, have never been able to figure out how to hold a pick. Any idea which one sounds better and has more sounds for a thumb strummer.

In that case, I'd go for the tele-type mate :)
