Except for those bloody buccaners ;D this was the first suggestion I got, and I actually recorded the first version of it weeks ago. Something wasn't quite right with the first version tho, so I scrapped it and started over again. By this time I'd gotten the new Røde mic and the Behringer C2's. I first recorded a LitLR version and loved the sound of the acoustics and the quality of the vocal recording so I decided to keep the final version quite simple as well.

Ended up using quite a few tracks tho ;D (I seem to do that these days ::))

Greeny

Way better than the original! I no longer hate this song!!!

I love the slightly melancholic edge your arrangement gives it on the chorus. Such a fine performance, and the recording is so lush. Brilliant :-)

What can I say about this one Geir - I think I've probably run out of superlatives on here lately . . .

Yea, yea, yea!!

Oh yes indeed. As Greeny pointed out, the melancholic edge to it is simply marvellous. An absolutely stunning re-interpretation of this song. And turned out rather well, I reckon...

Will be giving this one a few 'spins'....

Fantastic re-interpretation, Geir! I was never a fan of this song, but I'm a fan of your version! Great vocals, and loving those guitars. And such a crisp, clean production.

Great little ending hiccup, too. :)
