Here is a nice toy to play around with, and its the nice price. Free.

Not as sophisticated as the high-price software but I'm sure a lot of fun
will be had tinkering with it. Especially for adding sound effects to a song.

I'm pretty sure that was the one I used on my Atom Brain - if it is, its got some great sounds in it!

Linux users can get Bristol for free. It emulates many synthesizers.
