Title: Vote for the Q4 (Oct/Nov/Dec) 2022 "Covers" festival
Post by: 64Guitars on September 22, 2022, 10:21:54 AM
It's time to vote for our next two festivals which will run from October 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022. Voting starts now and runs for 7 days. You can change your vote any time until the closing of the poll on Thursday, September 29th. To do so, click "Remove vote" to cancel your previous vote, then vote again.

This poll is for the "Covers" festival. There is a separate poll for the "Originals" festival. Please vote in both polls.

Remember, "Covers" is covers only, and "Originals" is originals preferred but covers welcome unless otherwise stated in the festival's description.

  • Instrumentals - Covers of songs that were released as instrumentals (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_rock_instrumentals). Or instrumental covers of any song. ie; record a cover of any song you like but play the vocal melody on an instrument rather than singing it. No words allowed, but you could include non-word vocal sounds if you want (humming, oos, ahs, la-la-las, whistling, etc.), or a single word or two in the style of instrumental classics such as "Tequila", "Wipe Out", and "Soul Finger".
  • ELO Fest - Covers of original songs by the Electric Light Orchestra.
  • Brian Eno Fest - Covers of songs by Brian Eno (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Eno_discography) or songs that he has produced for other artists.
  • NileFest - Covers of Nile Rodgers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nile_Rodgers) songs and songs where Nile is a contributor. There are some surprising ones.
