Interesting video !  I remember one of my mates had a Marlin Sidewinder bass.

Still the Marlin looks to be a better guitar than my first electric - a Satellite ordered from my mum's catalogue.
That was a piece of junk which I soon replaced with a JHS Les Paul copy which was much better even though I later found it it was a ply-wood body with a plastic moulding in place of a carved maple top and single coil pickups in humbucker covers !
