Bit of a rant with a little nod to Dylan's 'Subterranean Homesick Blues'

Honesty the policy all good men now and then
Gotta follow. Bless tomorrow.
Beg and borrow, beg and borrow
Pederasts, paedophiles. Read the files. Speed dials
Catch a glimpse and catch the pimps
Just feed the chimps and screw the nymphs
Colgate smiles. Missing tiles leaky roof here's the truth
Never winning, scrape a living.
Pull the plug, nothing good
Weekend pastor gotta cast a bigger net
Can't forget or lose the bet
The rooms are wet - the wettest yet

After all they have shown us
What if our gods disown us.

Jumper on the roof of the bank; who's to thank?
In the tank
More foreclosures, plastic posers, plastic roses.
Increased doses
Oxycontin - many wanting  many waiting. many hating.
Many baited. Nothing sacred;
FDA government rated
Got no heat; nothing to eat. Partner cheating.
Kids meeting
The wheeler dealers. Fearless, peerless.
Football cards, stealing cars
Abused wives. Taking lives. Taking pills, climbing hills
Hotel seedy, the girl is needy
Shot the TV, got the VD

Streets collapsed. Baseball caps back to front; authorities blunt
Someone dead, plenty said, nothing done.
Nothing done.
Leaders weak just speak the speak.
Things are folding. Kids controlling
Take a chance  Have a dance;
Cheap romance, drop your pants.

Somehow, somewhere lost our focus
Striving for the company bonus
We wonder why gods never phone us
Maybe they've already disowned us.

Stunned, simply stunned. Just how does someone come up with and produce something so good? Where are the  supposedly f*cking omniscient A&R radio scouts? This, and others around here should be blasting out from every airwave available. Ray, this is simply incredible. The inventiveness, musicality and production are on par with anything available from a major record label catalogue. I doff my hat to you in respect. Well done.  8)

Super awesome Ray!!!!!!!!!!! You are one creative guy. How many takes did it take get the rapid fire lyrics to flow out so seamlessly? A great everything here!

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

A touch of punk on the verses! Great vocal delivery and another sad reflection on life track. Cool job Ray!

Exellent lyrics i like the punky verses, very clever track , the little piano run down just before the guitar solo was very tasty, really cool song Ray, makes me want to do a rock song and  rant a little myself, or  alot lol. enjoyed

Those straight driving verses just burrow into your head. They convey enormous angst. Those little twists and changes in the arrangement are superb and allow a little breather before we have to face the reality of the nightmare in our societies. All around the world people are feeling the same things. But a cool song Ray.

I love subterranean homesick blues by Dylan, and this is similar in the verses..but I like this better  :)
Awesome music all round. I like the variety of styles throughout Ray, a bit of rock, bit of punk, some mellow piano parts. And you rapping in places with the lyrics..really cool song.
