This has an 80s feel to it, especially in the vocals and guitar work.  Simple Minds came to my mind ("Don't You Forget About Me") but with a bit more aggression in the instrumentation.

Great subject matter for a cool song. My wife has insomnia sometimes, I don't envy her, she hates it when I tell her I sleep like a log! This is great guys, it does cover a few genres and throws in plenty of surprises. Stellar guitar.
