Again I was having a strum and this one leaked out ...thanks for listening
The easy going  drifter is moving down the road
Looking for adventure no matter where it goes
He knows the dream of yesterday he's got to unload
The misery of failure leave it to the road
The darkness of the night
Sets a soul alight
Its dark but its groovy cause his alone with the night
Alone with the night

The sunrise is coming up yeah  he can hear its call
The first glimmer of the day as darkness starts falls
Hope is in the skyline a little further down the road
Salvation with sunshine a little hope for the soul
He can almost see a future beyond the bend in the road
he's got to start believing cause this doubt is getting old
The darkness of the night
Sets a soul alight
Its dark but its groovy cause his alone
his alone
his alone with the night

Break

On the road its all the same
One foot goes in front of the other
The memories wurre  around and inflame
Pulling a man down
Swimming him in pain
Till there is nothing left to gain or explain
nothing left to explain

Just leave him alone
Just leave him alone
let him alone

let him alone
to the night

On the road its all the same
One foot goes in front of the other
The memories wurre around in  flames
Pulling a man down
Swimming him in pain
Till theres nothing left to gain
Till theres nothing left to explain
nothing left to explain

Just leave him alone
leave him alone
leave him alone
leave him alone
To the night
To the night

leave him alone
leave him alone
leave him alone
To the night
To the night

A very inventive song. I can hear many genres in there. Reggae comes to mind as well as a Garfunkel air? Another one I'm DLing to jam with. Great song! 8)

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

Oh yeah. This is really cool. The sort of restrained vocals fit the song perfectly and suits you well also.

The intense guitar contrast the vocals cleverly and makes this a great listen.

Well done Trev

Oh well ........

Nice laid back feel here. I love the chimey guitar tone and the mellow vocals are excellent.

Jarle

I love your vocals in this, and the guitar sounds great, crystal clear.

Yeah nice mellow one Trevor. I like that tone you are getting on guitar too, very well recorded. A nice chilled late night listen here on headphones.
