Loved the video. The band sounds good. That is a nice sounding guitar.

Unfortunately, the band I was in drifted apart during lockdown but the bass player and myself are playing in a new soul band which is slowly coming together. The Jaguar is also ideal for what I'm playing in the new band as I need a bright sound to cut through the bass, keyboards and brass section.

New playback of the video...I am a Jealous guy
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

A lovely instrument, I have a Mexican Jazzmaster which I love. I still have an ambition to own a Jaguar as they are so versatile and so comfortable to play. Unfortunately the good lady of the house does not share my ambitions.

I came here to vibe your (and mine as we've got the same ones!) guitar and then some new things popped my eyes.

Sweet Child'O Mine with a Jaguar? I guess it's doable, but doesn't it just feel plain wrong? :D

Also i noticed that you're hanging that Jaguar way low. In a real rock star manner. Still reaching the Sweet Child'O Mine parts without probs?

This guitar has been a real wonder. I'm still trying to manifest a MIJ Jaguar, or MIA Jaguar, but lately i've been so content with this one.

Sparking in mind a one important question. Where do you feel this guitar falls short when compared to MIA? I mean the woods feel ok, the radius is to the point also. Mine has P90s so they're not really starving either. The electrics are redone etc. Currently i'm thinking of fixing that last piece of the puzzle. So far i've had the tremolo locked (same with the Mustang, but i'm currently fixing that too), but i'm thinking of buying MIA tremolo and that should be it.

But am i betraying myself? Funnily enough... I've been offered several MIJ and MIA Stratocasters lately. All that i could have got (by trading), but i'm not going that route. It's like an ex i have warm feelings towards, but "been there, done that".

I might try some strange on the side though (mainly Jazzmaster), but that remains to be seen. You can't plan sudden escapades.

Still very much in love with my Jag after nearly 5 years ! I've used it for the second set on every gig with my soul band and it's still hanging fairly low. We actually played Sweet Child o'Mine at the last gig before lockdown by my previous band but it wasn't right on the Jag as they don't have the sustain to pull it off so I had to use my Les Paul for that.  Here's a clip (the singer is blocking the view of me !)
