Title: Thatessempee! by Oldrottenhead (live in the living room)
Post by: Oldrottenhead on February 28, 2018, 12:58:37 PM
Inspired by a wee ginger dug.

It is what it is.
Yea the snow is falling cos o global warming
And yer moaning groaning cos it isnae going
So you blame it a on thatessempee
A'd like to see the gritter that is gonna shift it
Av lost ma dug in a six feet drift an am
gonna blame it on thatessempee
Meanwhile the tories get off Scot free

A cannea get tae bingo
Cause the busses are aff
Am gonna throw away ma granny pass
And blame it on thatessempee
And ma free prescription is stuck in the snaw
And the chemist says he'll get it oor the morra
And he blames it on thatessempee
Meanwhile Teresa and Boris have tea

And on the news each night reporting after six
The headline's a baby box apocalypse
And they blame it on thatessempee
And Nigel's back on question time
For the umpteenth hundredth bloody time
On the impartial BBC
But hey! Let's blame it on thatessempee

I just read it. This whole Brexit blame- game thing is what you guys would call "Political rubbish" if I'm pronouncing that correctly? Looks like things are getting quite crazy with the Conservatives. I like the reference about the cake through the digestive tract LOL.

On to the song...best damn lyrics I have seen in a while James. Great song about what is going on in other parts of our World.
You kept in simple, honest and true about a real life (political) situation.

Well done Man!

Mach

Just read that wee ginger  dug, hadn't heard of it.
Interesting.
Brexit....independence. ..I'm done with it.
Can't get the images of the fighting at george square out my head to be honest the day after the referendum vote.
Man's inhumanity to man.
Every body's looking for a different party to take them to a new promised land.
New suit....different head, like the who said.
Meet the new boss same as the old boss.....or something like that.
Anybody that thinks these party's have any input in the economy
have taken the bait hook line and sinker I'm afraid.
In any country, the world's banks have us by the short and curlys.

the ones that caused the stooshy the day after the referendum where not thatessempee , you can blame thatessempee for a lot of things but not that.

Nice clash between mellow sound and critical/deep lyrics.  Nice playing live - like the modulation.
