Hi all, wonder of wonders, a Sunday afternoon with nothing planned except about 4 hours of intimacy with the new 12 string. There are a few odd notes in there which I hope you will forgive along with the cliche lyrics. Hope you enjoy.   Willie

Instruments used

Rickenbacker 12 String

Fender Precision

Br900cd onboard drums

GarageBand stings activated by Roland JD-Xi used as midi controller

I know we met only for a short time
A summers day so long ago
But I kept the picture in my memory
Ah but memories fade

What was the colour of your hair
What it dark or was it fair
I kept the picture in my memory
Ah but memories fade

Started talking to myself again
What was your name
I can see you standing there
With sunlight shining in your hair
But memories fade

Instrumental

Well I'm not sure what was your name
I know we never ever met again
But I kept that picture in my memory
Ah but memories fade
Ah but memories fade
Ah but memories fade

So chimey and beautiful - I love the vocal and the yearning in the lyrics.

You're knocking them out of the park lately, Willie.

Jangle on!

Wow! Reminds me of Gene Clark. Lovely 12 string sound.

Jarle

This sounds really good, a classic Willie tune.

Another of yours i can relate too, these days i struggle to remember the names of people i have only just met. my memory fades a lot quicker these days. Beautiful Willie, and lyrics are certainly not cliche to me.
