Just been recording a song that was part of a collab I was doing with Kenny and my precious Vox Tonelab died on me... utterly kapput! Won't even power up, so now I have, not only no means of hearing my new guitar (which is turning up today), but no sound from my PC. The tonelab was my audio interface & soundcard too, you see. Gutted!  :( :( :( :( :(

 that said, Kenny Mac has tons of recording gear, i am sure he could spare one of his home recording units for such a good cause.  ;)

The complete lack of power made me suspect the "wall wart" power supply, but where to find another at short notice? Then I remembered that when I bought the unit, it had been supplied with one of those 2-pin euro-plugs. Back then, I got in touch with the supplier and they sent out a UK-spec power supply replacement & I just chucked the euro-plug one in a drawer and forgot about it. I've dug it out and found a euro to UK plug adapter (the sort of thing you use with an electric shaver) and I'm back in business!
