Lester Young and Harry 'Sweets' Edison, 'Red Boy Blues' (Oscar Peterson, piano, Ray Brown, bass, Herb Ellis, guitar, Buddy Rich, drums). It's a track that doesn't seem to want to end. I'll be up to the 1960s soon, they tell me they were good!

Haven't heard it yet, but Guitarist magazine was raving about it...

I'm listening to Outkast/Big Boi feat. Sleepy Brown 'The Way You Move' but it raises the point for me:  What sort of non-guitar music do you listen to that gives you guitar ideas?  Is this a new thread?

I am listening to some of Greeny's music... You are so talented!
But, anyway... in response to what sort of 'non-guitar' music do you listen to, to inspire new guitar music... I sometimes like the classics, Tchaikovsky, Bach, Beethoven, etc. Or maybe some good keyboards such as Keith Emerson.
nothing is real... So theres nothing to get hung about!

Whiskey in a Jar by Thin Lizzy, one of my all time favourites and still trying to get a hang of the central lead bit.  Maybe one day.

Keep on plucking.

A friend just sent me some youtubes of a Polish band, Dzem (Jam). Anyone ever listened to them? It's exciting stuff to me.
