Guthrie is probably the greatest living guitarist around at the moment imo - I'm convinced there is no style that he cannot play. Somebody asked me at work a few months back who I thought was the best, and I said Guthrie. He used to write for the Guitarist magazine - and does loads of teaching and demo's on youtube. But he's not a big name, although played in Asia for a while. He solo album Erotic Cakes is very good, although can be a little hard going. He did a talk/demo in my local music store last year, which I couldn't go to - but have seen him play live, and is simply an awesome player.
