QuoteProbably going to sound ignorant, but I am familiar with the name never actually heard any material before though from Jeff Buckley, this is pretty cool, reminds me of Muse a bit... which is a band I would recommend if you aren't familiar and like this.

Funny, I was listening to Muse right now, I started to listen to them about a month ago and I started to listen because of a Live I saw on TV as well, just like you, what a coincidence.

The effect patch I come up a while ago sounds similiar to that sound! The guy knows what is doing, he does a similar thing to that on most of their songs.

Check out this songs from them:

I like some of the bands you posted as well, Dead Can Dance, for example.

Dead Can Dance is a big personal influence, I recorded a cover of Desert Song for a Dead Can Dance tribute cd, you can check it out at www.myspace.com/akrabu777

I can list the genres I like:
- Rock
- Metal (that's except death and black and everything like it)
- Blues
- Jazz
- Classical
- Soul
- Funk
- R&B

The first rock band I started listening to is Whitesnake. I got it from my dad, he played in a tribute-band at the time. Then it evolved from Whitesnake to Deep Purple to Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, and so on. Now I mostly listen to jazz, I like a jazz/fusion band called Tribal Tech (with the guitarist Scott Henderson) a lot. And Tower of Power, which is within the same genre.

You basically climbed the ladder of the Metal Knowledge.  :D

Tribal Tech: Never heard it before.

You must check Morphine, a collaboration song from 13Starz+ reminded me of them:

Morphine is great, I suggest everyone to listen to all albums starting from the first one.
