Title: instaud.io - audio file upload site
Post by: 64Guitars on October 29, 2017, 11:41:59 AM
I just stumbled across this site and wondered if anyone here has tried it. Or maybe someone would like to be the guinea pig to give it a try and let us know if it's any good.  ;) :)

https://instaud.io/ (https://instaud.io/)

It says you can upload MP3, WAV and OGG files of up to 15MB. It might be a useful site for collaborations. You could upload WAV files of individual tracks and email links to the files to your collaborators so they can download them. It has a "private upload" feature too, so you don't have to share your unfinished tracks with the world.

I'm not sure if we can link to files hosted on instaud.io with the Songcrafters players. I thought at first that we could, but I just tried one and it didn't seem to work. I might look into it further when I have more time. Although, they say that the files get moved to the Amazon server after a month, so that might create problems for linking to them here.

You can read more about instaud.io on the About page.

Interesting. We're still sharing our Jemima's Kite song pieces on OneDrive, but anything that makes the process quicker or smoother would get my vote.
