WWW
« on: December 24, 2007, 10:10:51 am »

just found out that thomas hansen aka st thomas passed away in september, being nowergian st thomas' death was not reported by the british music press till december and only then after being contacted by angry fans pissed off at the lack of reports on his passing.
i recorded the following song in tribute today 23rd of december 2007 on my microbr.
the song come my way was recorded by st thomas on his album lets grow together my cover pales in comparison to the original.
those interested can find out  more about st thomas at the following links

Another cool atmosphere by oldrottenhead.

You are definitely an expert in creating these wide and cool sounding atmospheres. Good tribute to St.Thomas. You made me search for his music, I'm now listening to him and enjoy it.

Nice guitars and bass sounds and a good job on the vocals too. I think you could try another Drum Kit though, the one you're using sounds very dead.

Thanks for sharing this, keep them coming!

And a Merry Christmas to you and everyone too.

Not only does this set a new record for the Longest Bump   Grin
(from December 2007)

What a great song, performed and recorded by one of the early Micro-BR masters!

Ahhh and a great bump indeed!!

Your voice is so versatile Sir Rottenhead, from raw rock'n'roll to delightful emotional music.

Great performance of a beautiful song !!

I've never heard this one. It's fragile and beautiful. I'd better check this guy out to understand the proper context. A really top quality song again from orh - it should be on a collection called 'Micro BR: The Early Years', lol.

You can't say fairer than that. Great bump, great track and it shows what a depth of talent ORH has. This is a very gentle track and very personal.

Cheers,

Nigel
