NeilFest 2009 Index

Here's another fav of mine form NY's "Freedom" album. Recorded on my old Fostex VF80. Brother Bill on harmonies. First attempt at using a mandolin. My favorite part of this (besides that i like the song) was getting my single coil Tele to sound like Neil's often used LesPaul. Sorry i can't be here more often.... just mad busy lately.

Always liked this song - I saw NY on this tour - Very good - all guitar and nothing but stompboxes and light effects switches that he ran with his foot.

Loved your vocals and the mandolin!! Brothers in harmony - awesome!!

See you around,

Mark

Neil is a one of a kind. Probably wouldn't have a chance if he was just starting out in today's music market though.. Renegade!

Singing with my brother is alot of fun...wish we could do it more. It's always a "one take" deal when i record with him...never enough time.

Thanks for listening Mark.

Really strong cover, really great Pinedog!!! Lovely in every way.  Yup, another one I love.  Great lead guitar sound, it worked big time.

Fear not. It's already in the Neilfest index.

Bump... this is a great cover. Yes... there are too few of us left in the world to make this music mainstream. What a shame. Love it PD

Thanks guys. Can't believe this was 2 years ago. Sorry i'm not around much anymore...not much time it seems and only three new songs to show for the whole winter. Pathetic. Feeling rather lost and uninspired of late. Hopefully it's just some sort of cycle like everything else in Life.
