Ahhh ... just couldn't resist, been so busy this holiday, just had time to listen to some of you guys great work hear. What a diversity !!!

Well after grabbing the MBR back from my daughter 20 minutes ago it's time for the "live" version of Kody's great blues. The guitar player is kinda nervous to go on stage after all these fine performances he's heard, but there's no way back now  Tongue

Yes sir, that is impressive.  Great tone, great big tone, great.  I love the sound of this.  Three versions of this song in a row, we must have been working on these almost at the same time, that is so cool, all different, all freaking cool.  Geir, you are gooooooooooood brother.  You have it for sure.  This version is so good I am putting this one on my IPod for sure.

Incredible! You did an awesome job!
Your guitar had no reason to be nervous.
Honestly, I don't know who had the best solo's...
I loved them all!

This is a blues sung so neat
This is a blues played so sweet
This is a blues to tap your feet
This is a blues that is going on my ipod because it is excellent well played and sung
and it is another great trans-atlantic post thanks to 48 for the great idea and the 'eadless 'oresman seen above lickety spit lickerty spit.

Please excuse the homage paid to the great Will Hay.
see how entertaining this has been for my wife and I
Many Many thank you's to all who participated.

well ..thank you all !! I must say it's just such a privilege to get the opportunity to play with such a great singer as Kody... it's really hard to mess up when the basis is so good!! .... and when he become famous I'll be able to say:
"I played with that guy" Cool Cool

I can't seem to get the MCBoss to pick up pinched harmonics on any of its patches:(:(how did you manage it?
I don't really think much about how I do it, guess it's a matter of finding the "sweet spot" on the string  Cool .... and of course holding the pick so you just barely see the tip of it. ..... and the harmonic at the beginning of the solo is actually a flageolette (sp?) on the 3rd fret on the G-string.

Yeah, and I almost forgot: Use your bridge pickup, the neck won't pick up those high harmonies!!!!

Super collaboration effort Geir & Kody!  I really like the solo guitar work and I really like the vocals.  I especially like the special effects vocal part....like your singing thru a telephone.  Very well done!
