Don't Think it.....PLAY IT!

« on: April 11, 2009, 03:57:31 AM »

Here I go again…when I selected these backers I didn’t realise they seem to suit a Major (rather than Minor) Blues feel……
However it has given me a lot of Major practice and playing with Vox Cheesy
This is the first run out of my £50 SRV Strat ( I felt it sounded and played better than my American 89 Strat Plus which is bloody scary Embarrassed Shocked )
It’s on big strum….. Wink

BTW This is turning into an incredible learning experience for me…… Cool

Another great one 48 !!! Great tone in that guitar, yeah sometimes it's frustrating getting a better feel from a cheep gtr than the one you think is THE guitar, but hey .... who cares ... music is the best !!

Another slice of 48 smooth blues.  That strat slices through, the way a good strat can.

Nice to hear your SRV guitar~ Sounds REALLY good~ I can't seem to get the MBR's FX patches to sound this good~ You really bluesed this one up~ sounds wayyyy darker now;)

This has been a great learning experience for me to.  Good practice in playing, writing, recording, and so many other things~ I'm really glad you thought of this....It's got to be one of my most favorite gigs ever. It's cool to see music bringing us people from all over the world together on one "virtual stage"~ Man, that is awesome!!

Really nice job here 48. That guitar sounds great - shows you don't have to shell out big bucks for a good sound.

Cheers,

Nigel

Way to go, 48! Smooth but 'big' tones that fit the song really well. Fantastic!!!!
