Don't Think it.....PLAY IT!

« on: April 09, 2009, 12:58:29 AM »

I couldn't sleep last night I'm like a kid in a sweet shop.........
This is my first take and I was going to redo it....but in the spirit of a live gig I have left it warts and all Shocked
I think the fills are a little to high in the mix and its complete with a bit of feedback in the middle Embarrassed
What do you think?
This was on my Peavey Semi on BR patch Big Strum with reverb Wink

I don't think the fills are too loud at all.
I think they're just right!
Love that sound.... Way to go Mike!

All I can say is Masterful playing.  I am hearing Mike Bloomfield runs again.  Its the way you play around a few notes back and forth, feeling it, then a bend, before moving on that makes me think of Bloomfield.  This is the first one I have listened to so far and it is very top shelf. You are becomming quite the bluesman, great feeling.

Beautiful stuff - lovely smooth playing. Subtle runs and lots of clever stuff - I think Bluesberry's comments were spot on. Another great job!

I think the mix is fine, nothing jumped out at me.

Cheers,

Nigel

Wow 48 It's about time you got in the action.  Great job!  I thought you did perfect.  You complimented Kody wonderfully.  Can't wait to hear more people. You guitar players are all so good.
