Ahhhhh superb.  This is just beautiful,  I don't think I have heard your voice any better Geir.  This Woodstock-fest is going to fill up my Ipod with marvelous covers like you and Greeny just put up.  I need to go get a Red Ale, whew.  Marvelous.

I am a sucker for acoustic guitar - and after so many years of doing the 12 string find it difficult to play anything but acoustic.  Lets see what I can contibute to the Woodstock cause - Enjoyed the arrangement very much!

I think you held your own just fine!! But you're one of the few that could do it, though!! Cheesy

I am a sucker for acoustic guitar...

Me too - probably because I have no business playing acoustic!! Cheesy After hearing you and Greeny, I'll probably be on overload once I get to BB.

You guys are awesome!!

Again I am totally amazed the version I heard has a man and a woman.  Would have been a great collab, but you both did an amazing job!!  I don't know how I am going to keep up with the posts, much less try anything. lOL

This is fantastic, Geir. You really nailed the way Tim Hardin plays it. It's fingerpicked, right? Much better playing than my self-taught approximation with a plectrum. And you sing it beautifully. As T says, with real emotion. I actually prefer yours to mine (but don't tell anyone, lol).

Well played.  The voice and guitar both capture the emotion of the song.

Well I think your voice is great here but I'll disagree with Greeny on this one, I love his self taught approximation which IMO adds a unqiue twist. But I think you have produced one of your best vocal performances here, the timbre of your voice is so rich on this. The recording of the vox is great as well, it projects the emotion well. A really great version of the song.

Head to head, Green-Geir!  Woohoo!

This one is wonderful Geir. They are so different from each other. It's amazing how a subtle change in delivery can change a song quite radically.
