I can't believe nobody commented this one. Its a great song and you sound very good. You seem like the kind of guitarist that never plays a wrong note!
What was re-recorded on Micro BR here? The solo guitar? Is that a B3 keyboard on the background?

Thanks I got the BR for xmas. I recorded the Lead in the br using the LA Guitar setting. The rythym guitar was recorded in BR but i dont remember the setting, is was a clean delay type of setting. The bass is recorded in Br using a preset i made for my Rick 4001 bass-It has weak pickups so i needed a little hotter setting.
Drums were done with EZ drummer (another xmas present). I find the br drums a little tedious to program, even with the pattern arranger program. But i am using the presets on others songs i'm currently working on. Organ was done with a Roland GR1-slightly tweaked preset
I used Audacity on the recommendation of some members here, to fade out. That is a really nice program and he price is right too. Reminds me of Sound Forge, easy to use too.
The mix itself sounds muddy to me though. It was mastering in Sonar. Big mistake I'm going to remaster it in the br. The presets in BR sound more open and less squashed.

I thought you only had re-recorded the lead guitar. Very cool, you have the whole set to make your own music.
You can also do that fade out in Micro BR, you know? When you are mastering the song to the final conversion to MP3, press Utility and then select Master Volume and lower it gradually to make the fade out.
Maybe the mix sounds a bit muddy because the bass is to loud and clashes a bit with the rhythm guitar. The drums have a little to much reverb, I would say. But overall its nice and I wouldn't worry too much. |

Nice snap to a relevant song that could be heard on the radio. Nice job! It makes you feel like jamming. I can't wait for the re-master. |

great sound and playing, i loaded it onto my mbr with the intention of trying to put a vocal on it, but is no space for a vocal its a very busy tune. would be interested in hearing tune without lead guitar to see if i could fit a vocal, then for you to play around the vocal. let me know if that takes yer fancy. |

I went back in the vault and just listened to your last post. Man o man you have talent. This is incredible playing, timing, construction, all around WOW. PLease man lets get another post from you. I love listening to someone who can play guitar as good as this (I know I wish I could play as good as this). Encore. Maybe start something and post it in the colabs sections and see what happens, that may be cool also. |

I wasn't around to comment on this originally, so I'm glad it got resurrected! I love the balance / dynamic between the guitar and keyboard. You really play beautifully! |
