NeilFest 2009 Index
Hi everyone, felt like doing another NY song for NEILFEST. Still learning the vocal thing and mic settings. I try watching the meters and level stuff out in master before I hit record. Through the headphones, the vocals sounded ok but on my speakers, a tad low...hmm  The Epi LP SII on Guitars I II & III The Squier PBass. I like a lot of Neil Young, most don't like him because of his voice. Give me his and the millions he made with, I'll be just fine thank you.  So his register a little out of mine. I sang the song more towards mine on one track and then sang it again more towards his. NEILFEST ROCKS ON! LOL

Great cover like it very much indeed your guitar is spot on and your vocal is very good, it,s all about putting your take on a song and you,ve done this really well. |

Excellent! Well performed, and perfect guitar tone. I'd bring the vocal up a little in the mix, 'cause it was very well done. Great contribution to NEILFEST!

How did I miss this!!!!! I feel the same..... Do they Know about us? LestG This is a Great, Great, Great recording!!!!!!!!! I Love the Vox!!!!!!!! Sounds so Young and full of energy..... But dont you have Grand Kids?!?!?! The Guitars are sublime.....!!!!! and Layers...... Never Heard the NY version, But if it was as good as this, I'm going out to but his CD! Nice one! I just listened to this again...I am killing my self and my recordings with the reverb. It sounded like I was playing in a cave somewhere. Wonder if I can remix it?  Thansk again osckilo! |

Wow... this is damn good. We had the orginal of this on in the office a mere 30 mins before I heard this, and your version more than stands up on all counts. That guitar is SPOT on. Lovely production job too. All-round excellent... |

I started working up this song for the Neilfest and thought I ran out of time. I'm glad I didn't follow through. This is just killer. The guitar is great.
