NeilFest 2009 Index

Ok ... had to give my new guitar a spin .....

So one more Neil before the fest is over (for me at least) ....

I actually hadn't heard this in a long while, but dug out some old Young and this one seemed like the right one to do. It's more ore less the Live Rust version -harmonica +acoustic lead

I must say the fest has been a blast and a good way to rediscover some Neil that I hadn't heard in a while +  some I hadn't heard at all.

well ... here's "Comes a Time"

Really super Geir, intimate.  Sounds like you are sitting in my favorite stool over in the corner of my dining room playing this, lovely.  I have one more to do before sunday as well, just me and my acoustic, just like you have done here so wonderfully.  Great version of a really great song.  sounds like your voice is back to normal.

That new guitar sounds fresh, dude! That double tracking is fantastic - just how it should be!! And the vox are working out great in my ears, no doubt!!

Now I see why you wanted to wait until the weekend to end the Neilfest Cheesy Cheesy

Thanks for making the 'fest happen - don't think I would have ever made an NY tune if not for you!!

Peace,

Mark

Nice job Geir, like the simple acoustic lead. Your vox sound very NY here, glad you were able to get this late effort in. Really enjoyed this.

Cheers,

Nigel

This guitar is recorded in such a shimmering manner.  I can't seem to get that.

A lovely cover.

I'm glad to have the opportunity to hear this one Geir. It's lovely. I kinda wonder what it would sound like on the 800 though......
