NeilFest 2009 Index
Here's a new NEIL-FEST entry..........ORH and I collaborated on a cover of NY's: " Like a Hurricane" ORH does the way cool singing here (I think he IS Neil Young) I play the 2 rhythm guitar tracks + the lead melody stuff (We used a backer for the drums and weak bass) I hope you enjoy it! Man thats good. Love the guitar!!!! Great vocals, I am glad to hear ORH let his inner Neil out to play. I am working on a version of this song right now, I am glad I decided to try an acoustic version, I would have a hard time posting an electric version after this GODLY electric version. Good one guys. |

this was my first take over satchwoods great take on this song, i tried doubletracking the vox throughout, in my cod neil young impersonation, i think the vox are a bit muggy, so i redid vox with one lead vox and a backing vox coming in at the chorus uyou can hear that version here, http://songcrafters.org/community/micro-br-b65/like-a-hurricane-satch-and-orh-the-final-version/0/ cheers satchwood, which one are we gonna do next, cos thizs was a lot of fun to do. |
