I was happy in the haze of a drunken hour

Not so much a cover, more a reinterpretation.  My Rosie is a Bulemia sufferer, in hospital in a coma.  We're with her boyfriend as he keeps her company and reminises.

Never met a woman
Never met a woman like you
Never knew a woman
Doin' all the things you do
It’s a scary story
Now you’re skin and bones
It’s bad to see you lyin’ there
Weighin' in at barely five stone
‘Cause you're a whole lotta woman
A whole lotta woman
Whole lotta Rosie…

How did it happen?
When did it all go wrong?
You’re still the only one
Only one to turn me on
But then over time
Your weight began to drop
Should be no surprise, Rosie
My love it never stopped
You’re still a whole lotta woman
A whole lotta women
A whole lotta Rosie…

Sweet dreams, Babe
I’ll see you soon

This has a very cool jazz-swing feel. A nice, fresh interpretation of my favourite ACDC track. Good twist on the original lyric, but I prefer the thought of a big, curvy Rosie!

Good performing and real far away from ACDC, so well recycled! Here's a bit Steely Dan vibe... Thanks for posting!

Very classy aproach to an all time classic rocker

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

My approach would be best described as

"Hmm, let me see.  I like Whole Lotta Rosie by AC/DC, but then I also like Girlfriend in a Coma by the Smiths.  But which one is best?  There's only one way to find out...  FIGHT!"

I'm very happy with the guitar sound, which is off of the neck pick up of the Tele, then routed through the BOSS DR-5 AmpSim setting (which is awsome), then the Clean insert effect on the R16.  The keyboard sound is a present on the MicroKORG XL, only a bit of reverb added.  I'd love to have done this with a live drummer, there's so many fills and syncopations in my head that I'd have done.

I may be taking this too seriously...
