The cleanest Rodney Carrington song we could find. Yep I sang a whole song,

Kenneth Gutiars
Kenneth Drums
Kenneth backing vocals
Tony synth violin and lead vocals

Pickup Truck - Rodney Carrington

I'm getting married to my pickup truck
It never leaves me when I'm down on my luck
It doesn't shop at fancy stores
or have a lawyer or want a divorce
It doesn't care if I stay out late
It doesn't bitch about the money I make
We'll be together until the end,
it won't sleep with my best friend

I'm gonna get down on one knee,
and ask my truck if it'll marry me
I'll never drive another car,
we'll honeymoon at the titty bar

I'm gonna have the time of my life
the exhaust pipes are tighter than my ex-wife
You think I'm crazy but listen to this
I can bring home a hooker and it won't get pissed,no
Wedding ring won't cost me a buck
when I get married to my pickup truck

That is fantastic.  So good to hear you belt one out Tony, your voice is very suited for a vocal style such as this.  Great fun song...my exhaust pipes are tighter than my ex-wife...hilarious...Ken, Kenneth, or should we call you Kenny-Boy now, great roots guitar picking there. You guys should team up some more, it is a great combination!!!!!!!

You might be a redneck if you have to keep a step ladder handy to open your truck door for your girlfriend.

You might be a redneck if you’ve ever put a tarp in the bed of your truck to use it as a swimming pool.

Thanks all, I cannot tell a lie, I often have my buddies preview anything I do, because I can't trust my ears for production, and I'm so uncomfortable singing that I get some tips which cause immediate improvement. Believe me, I improved a lot over the course of doing these lyrics.

Ken, thank you! I have avoided singing like the plague, and locking me into it is about the only way I'll post vox.

I edited the first post with lyrics, thanks for the reminder chirp Van.

I meant to comment on this last week Tony and Ken. I haven`t been around much and won`t be like i used to for a while.

Anyway, this one brought a smile to my face. I never heard the original but don`t care to now.

Tony dude, i love your vocals. You have a stand up voice. Even you doing the answering machine thing on Mark`s ABC song sounds pro to me.

Great work on the backing vox and music Ken as always you freakin rock!!
