I was happy in the haze of a drunken hour

Here's some new insanity courtesy of my new toy, the Korg Monotron.  It's only the size of an old cassette tape, has a ribbon for a keyboard but is fully analogue and makes the most wicked racket I've heard in a long time.

The Monotron parts were added this evening after I wrote and recorded all the rest of it in about 40 minutes from scratch two nights ago.

I Look For the Answers in Blue
I looked for the answers in blue
But none of them were true
I looked for the answers in red
But they were all in my head
I looked for the answers in green
But they were quite obscene
I looked for the answers in brown
But they just got me down
I looked for the answers in black
But from there I never came back

I look for the answers in blue
I look for the answers in blue
I look for the answers in blue
I look for the answers in blue

Couple of weeks.  First time I've used it in anger.

I love how the melody line and vocals are the steady, grounding part of the song and the music is the part that kind of sways and soars all over the imagination. Pretty cool toy you got there.

Great work! That Monotron can be great but can also produce a really annoying racket. Fortunately this was great, really well done! Nice and original and love the psychedelic feel.

Cheers,

Nigel

Great vocals and the music frames it perfectly.  Far out and well done.

Thanks for the comments, all.  I'm back off my hols now (early, thanks to bad weather is southern Thailand).

Hoping to have some new stuff to post soon.
