This one has taken some time, disrupted by a recent event, but finally finished. Mark suggested this song, and I was thrilled. It's a quite simple song with some interesting bits and pieces as usual in a Beatles song. One Lennonsong and one McCartneysong they merged into one Beatles song. Mark suggested to bring along drumbum and I'm glad he said yes to join in on this. So great to have real drums for once!!! Thank you Mark and drumbum for joining me on this one !!! Hope we'll do many more songs together in the future ! I've got a feeling w/m: Lennon&McCartney Launched:bass & vocals Drumbum: Drums Geir:guitars, piano & vocals

Man, that is one raw, powerful sound - the bass and drum just pounding through this classic. Great guitar, pianner, and vox...it sounds like you're all in the same room! Excellent job, fellas! This kicks ass!! Love this Beatlesfest! |

My god Mark, you have to sing it hard like this from now on, deadly stuff. Geir isn't too bad either . Drumbum, what can I say, those drums sound like heaven. My new favorite Beatlesfest song. Sing it Mark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Oh yeah, I forgot about the great bass and guitars in all the excitement. You two sing very good together. |

Outstanding in every category. Drumbum, excellent work. Geir, the guitars and vox are excellent. Mark......... Way to hammer it out! The bass was killer, but the vox stole the show. You owned it. |

I couldn't agree more with all the comments posted. This is simply great! I have never heard the original, and I don't think I want to. It can't be better than this. Mark - You really gave 'er hell on this tune and that makes it a gem to my ears. I love to hear that emotion in your vocals. Unbelievable! Geir - You're spot on as always. Piano too??? Great job man. ( P.S. - Are you a full-time musician now? ) Drumbum - The drums really drive this tune, and separate it from everything else in the fest. Sounds like it was recorded right from the stage boys. Great work guys! I love it!! |

Jeez, I'm listening to this one again and fully realizing the incredible production, singing and playing Geir put into this. And drumbum's work was fantastic. It was a dream collaboration. I'm always the weak link... Mark |
