I was inspired since it s raining cats and dogs in chicago next 2 days to cover this song
on my korg. the CARPENTERS did a version of this very slow with a harpsichord. and karen
singing howeve.r  i wanted the same stye , so i thought i would try latin. and felt it
came out rather cool . especially with the organ re hammond sound on my KORG. AND
since this is my 1000 post. since joining songcrafters why not do a beatle song
hope u like it thanks NEIL SWANSON ..................................................................!1

Nice!  This is giving me a very relaxed peaceful feeling, and very nice tone on that melody voice.  What model Korg do you have?  And are the drums midi files programmed on the synth?

Thanks ken and all for the kind words. and yes  i was trying to give this
new rendition a totally different feel than the original . in order to
make a cover your own i have learned. one must do it in his or hers own
style then u have been successful with your own stamp on it. also in
answer to the korg they r equpped with drum backing patterns and midi
but i also have a sequencer on board that i can creat  my own sounds.
beleive it or no t im still dealing with a floppy disc on that lo . but eiher
way a good sound re korg. also ken u  r welcom n would b honored to
work with u  as long as i have the chords to your song or project. andd
a mp 3 of what u r trying to do .god bless NEIL SWANSON

I really admire your skill, knowledge, and ability to arrange and orchestrate on the keyboards and all the sounds that korg puts at your fingertips.  You are a very talented fellow.

Great job on this very original arrangement.

Peace,
Ron

Thanks rolow for the kind words. and u hit  it right on the nose
the korg does the job providing all the wonderful sounds at my
fingertips. even with my arthritic hands. but good therapy. so
if there s any minor mistake.s it s beacuse of arthritic conditions
but we try . this took 12 takes  as it was lo. and for those who
asked what model the KORG IS IT S A PRO PA 50 DONT KNOW
if they still make the same model . but for 800 dollars is what
i paid. i am very happy with it . four years ago . again thanks
for all and any future comments. will continue to follow up NEIL

Thanks so much , again , i try with ea cover , tomake it sound different
and since i can t really sing that well with ea new song i try and incorporate
a new feeling to the song, and a new sound for the melody line.
i am glad it s enjoyed , and that instrumentals are still liked. for those
who can not sing lo..the only type of singing i could do , is backing vocals.
with my deep voice. will keep trying , but in the mean time my korg does
the singing . take care NEIL
