Got another hour free today and recorded this very quickly. I hope to get more time next week to do some more of the fab four's stuff. This is one of my many favourite songs from Rubber Soul Girl w/m: Lennon&McCartney

Thats a long haul you are taking on that milkshake (thats what it is right?). Sweet and simple and beautiful. I love that mandolin-like solo there. Its a beaut. Most days I tend to think of Rubber Soul as my favorite Beatles album with Revolver a very close second, other days it changes around, then there is Magical Mystery Tour, always liked that one...damn man its all good isn't it. Great song Geir. |

Brilliant. Perfect. Right down to the Lennon intake of breath. This one fits you like a glove. And that mandolin-sounding part blew me away. What a brilliant interpretation; you've covered it beautifully and faithfully, but the special Geir touch we know and love is all over it.
In fact, I need to listen to this again straight away. |
