Weird scenes inside the goldmine

Another very simple Lennon cover of one that was very simple in the first place, lol. I've re-evaluated a lot of Lennon stuff because of this fest, and I'm feeling these songs 'fitting' me better than the more obvious Beatles ones. He did some really brave stuff after leaving the Beatles - way more naked, emotional and brave than Macca. Anyway, this one only has two chords, and I cut one of the verses (sorry John...).

Well, this was always gonna be a good 'un. Your voice sounds great here, Greeny. Two chords, eh? Sounds like more, but then thats the trick, that only a master can teach us mere mortals.

Damn fine cover, Tim - vocals and guitar; it's amazing how good two chords sound when played by the right hands.

And at this rate, you should also have most of Lennon's catalog done before September. Wink  Cheesy Wish I could deliver anywhere near this level of quality so quickly!

Another song I've loved for a long time, and played at many a party through the time (one of the few I remembered the cords to Cheesy )

Stunning version Tim. Very true to the original, and yet with that green flavor we love so much !!!

Bravo Tim.

Delightful and stark and austere.

This should have been around for Eric Blair when he was researching The Road to Wigan Pier. It evokes the same images.

After I hit play and was listening, looking at the photo of John you posted, I got lost in the beauty of the music and momentarily forgot I was listening to a cover song and thought I was listening to John.  Then when the song ended I suddenly remembered I was on the songcrafters site and it was a cover.  Stupendous performance!
