Ok, here goes. This is my first acutal attempt at a song. I tried to double track the vocals and after making mistake after mistake deciced to just bag it.

Feedback on the process would be helpful. I did a rhythm track on a click track. Changed it to a regular rhtym track. Added two vocal tracks and then a seperate solo guitar track. I am still playing arround with the mixing as it is brand new to me.

Liked the tone... with the two simultaneous tracks. I use that trick on one of my originals. Makes the Vox cut through. Constructively I would say work on your metronome. Keep going man... your guitar was great... Liked the acoustic sound on this song.

Good start! Few timing issues, practice playing along with a rhythm. Try putting a fair bit of compression on the acoustic. You don't need to know what or why, just bounce it to a new virtual track using one of the compression mastering presets and mess with the settings till it sounds good to you. Put reverb on and it will sound killer.
