Not too sure whether I've got this one right.
Might try remixing it again, or maybe re-recording the vocals.

It's all recorded & mixed on a on a Boss BR600 using the following:
Bass - Vintage EST96
Guitar - Schecter PT
Synth - iPad
Vocals - Behringer XM8500

Let me know where you think I've gone wrong
Cool

Edit: Next morning now & decided on a remix.
Re-eq'd the vocals, cut the harmonies out during the verse and re-panned.
The attachment is now the new version
A little happier now. Smiley

This is excellent, I love this song and you have really done it total justice here as this is a very tricky one to cover.

Love the thumping tone of the bass and the guitar parts sound spot on to me and very true to the original.

Your vocal is fabulous and the harmonies in the chorus are very well done too.

Can't fault this, its superb!

Sounds like didn't go wrong anywhere, to me. Smiley

Excellent cover - very faithful to the original, and I like all the little extra touches you added to it.

Nothing at all wrong with this song. Sounds very good to me.

Nicely played instruments and vocal.

Well done!

Kicks ass right from the opening bass, this is superbly done, you can really feel the energy through the song. Great job!

Love the thumping tone of the bass
Cheers I have to admit to a penchant for putting the bass up front. The 1st instrument I learnt to play was the bass, so I guess it stems from that.
i was toying with doing this on the uke but gave up.
Noooo don't ever give up. I'm sure you'd do it justice
Awesome cover of a great song!

One of my favourite tunes of all time.
One of mine too ... Thanks for the comments
Sounds like didn't go wrong anywhere, to me
I'm much happier with the remix. Thanks for the comment
Nothing at all wrong with this song. Sounds very good to me.
As above, but glad you enjoyed the 1st take too. Thanks
I love this tune and think you did a great job, the music is right on & your vocal is rockin!
Cheers. I had to wait until our house was empty, then locked myself into our spare toilet, with the trusty BR600 on batteries, so I could wail away to my hearts content!!
I used to play it regularly live on the old pub/club scene, good stuff, well done.
Love to hear that, bet it rocked
amazing sound you got out of that BR
I gotta say, it does the job mighty fine. Keep wondering whether to look at a BR800, but will have to save my pennies. Meanwhile the 600 keeps dishing it out.
you can really feel the energy through the song. Great job!
Thanks. Energy is probably the thing I'm best at. I'm not the greatest musician, so I mix in a spot of adrenalin ... which seems to help!!
Really digging it!! Good job!!!
Cheers, glad you liked it
oh this is just fab-u-lous - spot on!
Haylie ... And so are you. If only I had your voice Smiley
Thanks for the listen

Many thanks to all who've commented. If I've missed anyone, I'm really sorry. I don't think I've had so many replies all at once!!
I must be doing something right Cool

Talking Heads are one of my favourite bands , you were brave to take this on , not many would , so I'm pleased that you did such a good job with your cover , & in fact added a little something that wasn't there on the original , absolutely fabulous , well done mate
