My sweet old roost in France

« on: April 14, 2012, 11:00:26 am »

I am selling the MBR and a possible buyer asks

"Hi there, we are looking for a device that would record our church services, I know this is really for guitars, but would it record from leads from a sound desk, and then download to a computer by the usb?"

I have no idea. I said I would ask here and I also asked him to join here and ask too. The auction ends this Sunday.

Thanks Chip.

Yes.

The M-BR has a 1/8" (stereo) line level input jack.  One would just have to look at what kind of cable was needed to get from the sound desk output(s) to that.  So, it would work great for the job that the possible buyer is asking about. He will just need to learn a thing or two about using the M-BR, and of course here is a great resource.

It's possible. even easy. I've done it. just need a phono to stereo mini-jack cable. select line input and record.

Thanks for the replies chaps. The possible buyer may have looked in ( I sent him a link and  hopefully he registered) and your answers have helped him out. Thanks again.
