I'm still stuck in the Cityfest, I'm afraid. This week, it's a full French language cover of Telex's Moskow Diskow. It goes back to 1979, although I only discovered it a couple of years ago. Drums are off of the BOSS DR-5, all other sounds from the Korg MicroKORG XL. |

I don't remember the original but your version is really good. I love the old synth stuff like Numan, Human League, Ultravox and remember at the time having serious GAS for a synth although I was never a keyboard player. Just before my first band broke up (a punk / ska guitar band) we had a bash at being a synth band. trouble was we only had a crappy collection of keyboards - Bontempis, Casios and the like - and sounded awful. we were never that good as a guitar band either! I love the sound of that synth you use but can't see the wife letting me buy one. Aussi, tu chantes tres bien en francais. Bravo! |
